Estelle completed her foundation diploma at Chelsea College of Art & Design and went on to graduate in Fine Art from Oxford Brookes University. She currently works from her home studio in South West London. where she specialises in still life and portrait painting in oils. Her work has sold to collectors around the globe including the UK, US, Mexico, France, Switzerland, Germany, Ireland, Canada, Australia and New Zealand.
In 2021, she became a full member of the Society of Women Artists and is currently on their council.
She has twice exhibited her work at the National Portrait Gallery in London - Her portrait ‘Robert’ was selected for the BP Portrait Award exhibition in 2017 and in 2024, her self portrait was selected for the first Herbert Smith Freehills Award exhibition.
She regularly exhibits her work at the Mall Galleries, London with the Royal Society of Portrait Painters, The Royal Institute of Oil Painters and annually with the Society of Women Artists.
Estelle was awarded The President & Vice President Award at the Society of Women Artists Annual Exhibition 2024 and she was also awarded a ‘Highly Commended’ certificate by the Royal Institute of Oil Painters at their annual exhibition in 2024.
In 2022, her book ‘Easy Oil Painting’ was published by Search Press and made available for sale in Tate Britain, Tate Modern, The Royal Academy and The National Gallery. It has since been translated into French, Dutch and Spanish. Her work has also appeared in various publications including Artists & Illustrators magazine.
Estelle is open to still life & portrait commissions and welcomes any questions about the process
